English and communication coach
Rewrite a paragraph into shorter sentences. Your facts stay yours.
What this tool does
The English coach works on a paragraph you paste. The rules path splits the text into sentences, drops the filler words very, really, just, and actually, and splits a sentence that runs past 28 words at the midpoint. If the paste has no full stop, the note asks you to add one so a reader can see where each thought ends. The score starts from 100 and loses 15 for each note, and another 20 if the text is under 40 characters, with a floor of 20. A model, when configured, rewrites in the same spirit and is still marked for review. The coach does not add achievements, employers, or numbers you did not write.
How to use it
Paste one paragraph you might say in an interview or an email. Read the rewrite next to the original. Put back any word the coach removed if it changed your meaning. The filler list is mechanical: a sentence can need “just” and the coach will still cut it. You decide. Then read the result aloud. If you run out of breath, it is still too long.
Worked example
Paste: “I actually just finished the bank reconciliation really carefully and I found two duplicate vendor bills that I reversed before the close.” The rules rewrite drops actually, just, and really, and leaves the reconciliation, the two duplicate bills, and the reversal. Those facts were yours. The coach did not add a company name or a rupee amount. If you need the amount, type it yourself and run the paragraph again. The jobs link on this page opens the published job list, with no keyword forced. An empty list means nothing published matched. It is not a comment on the wider market. A signed-in candidate can save the attempt on their profile. Saving is not an application, and it does not show the attempt to an employer. Employers see people who apply to their own jobs.
Questions
- Will it correct every grammar error?
- No. The rules path shortens sentences and removes four filler words. It is not a full proofread.
- Does it add facts to make the paragraph sound stronger?
- It should not. Check the rewrite and delete anything you did not mean.
- Does it run without an AI key?
- Yes. The rules engine returns the rewrite and says that it did.
