Customer call practice
A caller with the wrong item. Do not invent an order number or a refund.
I received the wrong item and I want to know the next step.
What this tool does
The call role-play uses a support script. The caller says they received the wrong item and want the next step, then that they do not have the order number and asks what you can check without inventing one, then asks what you will do today and how they will hear back. The rules score matches the pitch tool: credit for a reply over eight words, for an acknowledgement, and for a next step, and a deduction if you introduce a rupee amount, an LPA figure, or a percent growth or share. Inventing an order number is the failure the quiz on this hub also marks. The script cannot look up an order. There is no order database behind the page. Promise only a step you could actually take, such as asking them to read the number from the packing slip, or saying what you will do when they have it.
How to use it
Acknowledge the wrong item in the first reply. In the second, say what you cannot see without the number, and where they might find it. In the third, name the channel and the day you will reply, without a compensation amount. Stop when the script says the practice is enough.
Worked example
A usable second reply: “I understand you do not have the number with you. I cannot see an order from a name alone on this practice line. The number is usually on the packing slip or the email receipt. Tell me when you have it and I will send the next step by email today.” That acknowledges, gives a next step, and invents neither an order id nor a refund. “I have gone ahead and refunded ₹500” fails the figure check and invents an action the script never authorised. The jobs link on this page searches HiringBuddy for published roles matching “support”. An empty list means nothing published matched. It is not a comment on the wider market. A signed-in candidate can save the attempt on their profile. Saving is not an application, and it does not show the attempt to an employer. Employers see people who apply to their own jobs.
