Call quality quiz
What to say when the person is angry or the reference is missing.
What this tool does
Call quality quiz is the multiple-choice check on the Customer support and BPO hub. What to say when the person is angry or the reference is missing. There are 4 items. Each item has one keyed option. The page is there so you can rehearse the distinction before an interview, not so the site can rank you against other people. Item 1 asks “The first useful move on an angry call is”. The option this quiz marks correct is “Acknowledge what they said, then state the next step you can actually take”. Acknowledgement plus a real next step. Do not invent an order number or a refund. The other choices are Argue the policy; Promise a refund you cannot approve; End the call. Item 2 asks “If the order number is missing”. The option this quiz marks correct is “Say what you can check without it, and how they can find it”. Work from what the person gave you. The other choices are Invent one that looks right; Close the ticket; Quote a compensation amount. Item 3 asks “A clear written reply”. The option this quiz marks correct is “Uses one next step”. One next step and a time you can keep. The other choices are Stacks three questions; Opens with slang; Hides the time frame. Item 4 asks “Grammar in a support reply matters because”. The option this quiz marks correct is “The reader should not have to decode the sentence”. Short, clean sentences. The grammar tool only flags mechanics. The other choices are It replaces the solution; Longer is always better; Templates must be copied unread.
How to use it
Read the prompt, pick one option, and submit the set. You do not need an account to try it. Three correct answers out of four score 75, because the score is correct divided by the number of items, times 100, rounded to the nearest whole number. A wrong pick still leaves the explanation on the item, which is the useful part. The score is not a grade from an employer and it is not sent anywhere by itself. If you want it kept, sign in as a candidate and save the attempt. The quiz does not use a model, so it runs the same way when no AI key is configured.
Worked example
Work the first item on its own before you look at the key. It asks “The first useful move on an angry call is”. If you choose “Acknowledge what they said, then state the next step you can actually take”, that item is marked correct because Acknowledgement plus a real next step. Do not invent an order number or a refund. Then do the rest without changing an earlier answer to chase a round number. A perfect set scores 100. One miss on a four-item quiz scores 75. Zero correct scores 0. None of those numbers is a percentile. The jobs link on this page searches HiringBuddy for published roles matching “support”. An empty list means nothing published matched. It is not a comment on the wider market. A signed-in candidate can save the attempt on their profile. Saving is not an application, and it does not show the attempt to an employer. Employers see people who apply to their own jobs.
Questions
- How many questions are on the Call quality quiz?
- This page has 4 items. The score uses that count as the denominator.
- Does a high score go to an employer?
- No. Saving an attempt stores it on your candidate profile. An employer sees applicants to their own jobs, not this quiz.
- What does the score actually measure?
- It measures how many keyed options you matched. It does not measure speed, and it does not compare you with anyone else.
- Can I retake it?
- Yes. The items stay the same, so a retake checks whether the explanation stuck. It is still practice.
