What this tool does
Banking awareness quiz is the multiple-choice check on the Banking hub. KYC, account interest, EMI, and simple interest. There are 4 items. Each item has one keyed option. The page is there so you can rehearse the distinction before an interview, not so the site can rank you against other people. Item 1 asks “KYC is collected so the bank can”. The option this quiz marks correct is “Identify the customer as the regulations they follow require”. Know your customer is identification the bank's process already requires. The other choices are Guess income; Set a rate from a rumour; Skip the account opening form. Item 2 asks “A savings account pays”. The option this quiz marks correct is “Interest on the terms of that account, which you must read”. This site does not publish a market rate. Read the account terms. The other choices are Whatever this site claims is average; A fixed 8% everywhere; No interest by law. Item 3 asks “EMI falls when, holding the other inputs equal,”. The option this quiz marks correct is “Tenure increases, in the standard formula”. The calculator uses principal, annual rate, and months. It does not look up a lender. The other choices are Principal increases; The rate increases; You skip a field. Item 4 asks “Simple interest on the calculator is”. The option this quiz marks correct is “Principal × rate × time / 100”. You supply principal, rate, and time. Compound interest is shown beside it. The other choices are A bank's unpublished yield; Compounded monthly by default; The same as EMI.
How to use it
Read the prompt, pick one option, and submit the set. You do not need an account to try it. Three correct answers out of four score 75, because the score is correct divided by the number of items, times 100, rounded to the nearest whole number. A wrong pick still leaves the explanation on the item, which is the useful part. The score is not a grade from an employer and it is not sent anywhere by itself. If you want it kept, sign in as a candidate and save the attempt. The quiz does not use a model, so it runs the same way when no AI key is configured.
Worked example
Work the first item on its own before you look at the key. It asks “KYC is collected so the bank can”. If you choose “Identify the customer as the regulations they follow require”, that item is marked correct because Know your customer is identification the bank's process already requires. Then do the rest without changing an earlier answer to chase a round number. A perfect set scores 100. One miss on a four-item quiz scores 75. Zero correct scores 0. None of those numbers is a percentile. The jobs link on this page searches HiringBuddy for published roles matching “bank”. An empty list means nothing published matched. It is not a comment on the wider market. A signed-in candidate can save the attempt on their profile. Saving is not an application, and it does not show the attempt to an employer. Employers see people who apply to their own jobs.
Questions
- How many questions are on the Banking awareness quiz?
- This page has 4 items. The score uses that count as the denominator.
- Does a high score go to an employer?
- No. Saving an attempt stores it on your candidate profile. An employer sees applicants to their own jobs, not this quiz.
- What does the score actually measure?
- It measures how many keyed options you matched. It does not measure speed, and it does not compare you with anyone else.
- Can I retake it?
- Yes. The items stay the same, so a retake checks whether the explanation stuck. It is still practice.
